I am writing to let you know how pleased I am with "My Wrapper Gold" that I recently purchased.

I started my candy wrapping business in April 2004 and had bought a few programs to help me create the wrappers plus I also used Paint Shop Pro but I just wasn't satisfied with it taking me an hour or more to make a wrapper and all the messing around I had to do to get a decent one made.

I then started purchasing premade wrapper templates that just needed to have text added to them and lots of graphics thinking it would help me create wrappers in a more timely manner. Although, the premade templates are a time saver in the sense that you don't have to find backgrounds and/or extra graphics to add to them I still needed to add the nutritional background plus find sayings to place on them and this was taking up a lot of my time.

I had seen discussions of "My Wrapper" on candy wrapping forums and decided to investigate it. I downloaded the trial version and after using the program for just a few hours I returned to the website and ordered my own copy of "My Wrapper Gold".

Why did this software hook me into buying it? Read on.

1. It is very user-friendly, in fact it's so easy to use you don't need to refer to a manual to get started which is excellent for beginners. All you do is choose a wrapper size, choose an occasion and you are then presented with an array of backgrounds and graphics to add to your blank canvas.
2. You're not stuck with using just the program's graphics or backgrounds either. You can import any jpg or bmp file into the program and it will automatically resize it ready to fit the wrapper you're working on. What a time saver that is.
3. You can also import premade candy wrapper templates that are in jpg or bmp format. So you don't have to use the templates that come with program if you want to use another you have.
4. Making the nutritional backs is a cinch. You can either type in your own ingredients and nutritional values or use the wording that comes with the program. All the text is perfectly aligned and setup taking away the frustration of creating these in another program and going crazy trying to line them up.
5. You can make multiples of the same wrapper but with different sayings, names or dates by using the placecard database within the program or by importing a csv file. Great for wedding favors/table cards, birthdays, teachers and more...
6. There are 1,000 sayings that can be added for any occasion. How many times have you been stuck not knowing what to say? With My Wrapper Gold it's just a matter of choosing one or more and they are automatically added to the wrapper. You can change the font color, size and style and see it change right on the wrapper.
7. For the professional candy wrapper you can remove the reference to "My Wrapper" by using just a few keyboard commands and adding your business information instead.
8. Any wrappers you make can be exported to jpg or bmp unlike other wrapper software I've used that only allows you to save your work using it's own graphic extension.
9. You can scan photographs right into the program.
10. You can also copy images from the clipboard without having to resize them first. This is ideal for gif images or any image file that you may have that is not a jpg or bmp.

I have to say that "My Wrapper Gold" is by far the best candy wrapping software I have come across and the only one I use now.

Not only will beginners find it extremely easy to use seasoned candy wrappers will find it to be a huge time saver.

What used to take me anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours to create a decent wrapper now only takes me 5 - 15 minutes depending on the complexity of the wrapper and how fancy I want it to be.

And last but by no means least the staff at My Wrapper provide excellent customer service and support. You'll never have to worry about waiting days to receive answers to your questions and that is worth it's wait in gold in this day and age.

In conclusion there is only one more thing to say "My Wrapper Gold" is the ferrari of candy wrapper software!

Most of the time when you call a company re: anything, they never want to help you, but I must say you are fantastic to work with. I would like to tell you about how I am using the wrappers.

I am involved with local organizations who do animal rescue and adoptions. I have been making wrapped candy bars since receiving the first My Wrapper program and selling them to raise money for spaying/neutering, vet care and general expenses. I have been making the wrappers geared towards cat and dog themes for whatever the upcoming holiday happens to be. Right now I am selling "Mother's Day bars." I have found clever pictures in my print programs featuring dogs and cats for each holiday. I made up my own sayings for the wrappers using your sayings as an example. They have come out beautiful and have been a big hit. It is easy to sell them at shelters and adoption centers.

Since receiving the first My Wrapper program in January, I have sold over 1,000 candy bars... this adds up to lots of money for the animals. Now... if only I could find a way to make the "candy bars"...

No one thanks you more for making this great program than the animals who are being helped with the money from the wrappers.

Just wanted you to know I finished the project I was doing for our school fund raiser on time, thanks to you and your wonderful product! I love it! I have spent all morning creating new wrappers for another project - this is the first time I can honestly say that work is fun! I downloaded your program and found it incredibly easy to use. In fact I created my own label for a Super Bowl Party quite quickly, but thought the cost was a little much for my pocketbook. So, I went to Ebay and found another candy label s/w package that was $20. Boy, what a mistake. It doesn't download as one would normally think. I'm a s/w support tech, so I knew when I opened the program and tried to open a template and got a message there were no templates that this was the first step backward. I had to browse the cd to copy the templates folder to the program location. Then there wasn't any pre-designed labels in the program. Again, you had to browse the cd because they don't install either & you have to manually copy those to a location. Not easy @ all, not to mention you have to import the back of the label also as a jpeg file. Much too time consuming.

Unfortunately, I received an answer to my email after I ordered the program. I received the program today and I absolutely LOVE IT! This is the second program that I have purchased from you and I love them both. I was about to email you and ask you to add water bottle labels and baby food jars to your template, but I found the custom wrapper designer. THANK YOU!!! This program is more than I expected.
